The devastation in New Orleans is so sad and is a reminder of what is really important in life, ... My heart goes out to the countless people struggling with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

The guy has worked his butt off to get back to where he was, and he was just now getting back to being 100 percent. It's just disappointing because he's a heck of a player, and you hate to see good guys like that and good players get injured.

These guys played their hearts out today and I'm proud of our guys. The bottom line to this whole thing is wins and losses and they made more plays than we did.

I look back at a couple of games we lost that we shouldn't have lost that could have made a difference. But this is the reality. There have been a myriad of things that have led to our record. I take my share of the blame. We've had a lot of penalties and inconsistent execution on offense that has led to this record.

The past several months have brought on much introspection, and I have decided that while my desire to compete on Sundays is still and always will be there, my willingness to commit to the preparation necessary to play another season has waned to a level that I feel is no longer adequate to meet the demands of the position,

He can get over the top of any coverage. You see defenses load up with two and three guys and he still beats it.

He's got a little fight in him, got a little bit of an attitude. He talks a little trash. But that's part of what makes him great. All the great ones do that.

I don't think guys are going to go and tank, ... I think we have enough players on the team that we're not going to let that happen.

If he's not in, the thing rolls on. But hopefully we'll have him. With Randy, we have our plays every week where we try to get him the ball. I don't know if it will change too much. I think whoever steps in for him will do a good job.

He's the real deal, man. I mean, shoot, the guy played outstanding for a rookie last year against some of the best rushers in the NFL and certainly held his own, played well.
